Well we lost the first one last night. It was the one that had been pre-loosened by a towel biting incident. Good riddance.

Trick or Treat

Andrew's Pumpkin

It's a couple of days early, but we're already in the spirit. Susan hosted a pumpkin carving clinic this evening and Daddy had to close his eyes while the lights were turned out and the final work was revealed.

Scooter Boy

Boys will be boys. We had lots of fun with the scooters and skateboards the other day. Good thing we have helmets!

Butch and RoRo in Town

We love having Butch and RoRo in town. They are welcome back anytime. Madeline has requested it be as soon as possible!

These Boys Go Fast

Now I know what it's like to go 170 mph around a curve on a NASCAR track. 3 laps was plenty. Those guys are crazy. I'll stick to getting my thrills from biking at 30 mph.

Summer Popsicle

Nothing like kicking back on the porch in the hood and cooling down with a yummy popsicle. The Phalens came to visit tonight and Andrew P and Danny joined our Thomas and Andrew H for some treats while I gave recently unretired triathlete, Amy, a refresher bike maintenance clinic.

Andrew's 4th Bday

Time Flies. Momma put together a two party extravaganza. Andrew had a great time at both. Thanks to everyone for the calls, cards, and gifts. The umbrella is a big hit. Pics are here.

Andrew the Ring Bearer

What a big day for Andrew. He got to be the ring bearer in Tracy and Matt Hugunin's wedding, and then danced his shoes off at the reception. Tracy is a former Stepping Stones teacher and one of Andrew's favorites. Pics are here

Looking at this pic, you'd never know Andrew told his teachers, "no, I'm the teacher," or Thomas fussed all week. Thanks for all the help at home this week Grandma Elaine. Thomas says he just might be up for school on Monday.

Andrew has referred to Darrell Arthur as "Arthur Darrell" so many times that now I'm confused. We should just stick with "Double Zero."

Thomas now smiles when he passes gas. I suppose this is a development milestone for all boys.
