A big afternoon at the Lawrence Community Theater was followed by a pass out in the car on the way home. Other than asking if he could pee every 2 minutes during the 1st act, Andrew actually watched and enjoyed the play. Momma would have accompanied us but Thomas was home seeing how far he could projectile vomit. Let's hope the bug doesn't make its rounds.

Mad Bikers

Yes, we've torn up the streets with our killer riding pace. If Dad wasn't handicapped with having to wear jeans and ride Susan's bike, he may have rode me into the dirt. It is somewhat amusing when a Californian complains about the "hills" in Kansas. The riding has been good the past couple of days since Old Man Weather has decided to give us somewhat of a reprieve from the usual conditions this time of year. Here's hoping for more good days when Dad and Jeff are in town next month.

Grandpa Butch

Granda Butch is in the house! It's good to have all the generations collaborating, and we have more bodies to play hide and seek with Andrew. We have big fun planned this weekend. Madeline is in doggie heaven now that she has a downstairs sleeping mate. Life is good, or Life Rocks as they say.

New Hat

My head was getting too big, so Momma got me a new hat. The bonus is it matches the car seat cover that Grandma Elaine made for me. Ain't I styling.

Costume Day

Door-to-door numbers seem to be way down this year, but at least we can still get our own kids dressed up for the occasion. Mom gets all the credit for these cute treaters!

School Pics

They sure look like best buds in this pic. Andrew couldn't possibly be a better big bro, and Thomas thinks Andrew hangs the moon. Let's hope this lasts for a few decades.

Hawks Prevail

With a spark from a frog named Reesing and a little help from the Buffs, the Hawks get a W. Thanks for the B-day present guys. Let's hope that's a preview of things to come.

Buffs Pregame

Can the Hawks can actually get it going today? Too hard to call. I'm more concerned about the mindset and effort level of the team than I am about the outcome. They better hit the field with a "refuse to lose" attitude and fight for all four quarters.

C'mon Hawks

Beautiful day, OK crowd, beatable opponent.....all the elements in place for a perfect day of college football, but the Hawks stunk up the place in the second half for the second week in a row. I'm still convinced they have a good team this year, but something is not quite right. I can't put my finger on it, but they shouldn't look nearly as flat as they do when they have a good lead at home.
